Extradition Approved for Muslim Accused of NYC Subway Plot

LONDON — A British court on Friday approved the extradition of a terror suspect wanted in the United States in what the authorities say was a plot to detonate explosives on the New York subway.
City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court says that the suspect, Abid Naseer, can be sent to the United States to stand trial for his alleged role in a terror campaign that the officials said would have struck at targets in Britain, Norway and the United States.
The authorities had previously connected the plot to a foiled plan to detonate explosives aboard a New York subway and a suspected plot to bomb a busy shopping area in the northern England city of Manchester.
Mr. Naseer can appeal the decision.
